Format Information
This cable is designed to use the component Video output from a DVD player to a Scart TV. The TV must be able to accept a component input through the Scart. Not all TV's do this. This is not an RGB cable, so look for Y, Pr, Pb input options on the Scart TV. The cable also has composite audio and video as well. The composite video is required to drive the menu systems on some Plasma TV's. This cable also allows you to listen to the audio through the TV speakers. The cable is also single direction only and will not work from Scart to the RCA's, only RCA to the Scart.
